The Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Deir el-Bahari, is a mortuary complex located on the west bank of the Nile River, near Luxor, Egypt. Built during the reign of Queen-Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BCE, this temple is one of the most impressive of the ancient Egyptian civilization.
