Sun – Earth – Moon

The Solar System is composed of a central star, the Sun. The Sun is a medium-sized star located at the center of the Solar System. It is a giant sphere of hot gas that radiates light and heat, providing the energy necessary to sustain life on Earth.

Earth is the third planet from the Sun and the only one known to harbor life. It is a diverse world, featuring a variety of ecosystems ranging from arid deserts to lush forests.

The Moon is Earth’s only natural satellite and orbits it at a relatively close distance. It is a rocky and desolate world, devoid of atmosphere and covered with craters formed by meteorite impacts. Despite its barren appearance, the Moon plays a crucial role in stabilizing Earth’s axial tilt and influencing ocean tides.
