Medieval Helmet

The medieval helmet was a piece of protective equipment used by warriors during the Middle Ages to safeguard the head in combat. Made from materials such as metal, leather, or a combination of both, helmets varied in design and shape depending on the region and historical period. Some models covered the entire head, including the face, such as the closed helm, while others were more open, like the nasal helm, which left the face exposed.

In addition to protecting against direct blows, helmets often featured various defensive elements, such as reinforced plates, crests, or rivets, to provide enhanced defense against attacks.
