It is widely distributed across North America, Europe, and Asia, with several subspecies, including the famous Alaskan Grizzly bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) and the Eurasian Grizzly bear (Ursus arctos arctos). These bears are known for their impressive size, reaching up to 8.2 feet in length and weighing between 220 pounds and 1,323 pounds, depending on the subspecies and food availability.
